Ms. Mauck holds a degree in Elementary Education (K-8) and a Reading minor (K-12), from
CWU. She was a substitute in Ellensburg and Wahluke school districts, as well as Head Start,
in the past, but enjoys helping people of all ages.
Ms. Mauck spent many years as a 4-H member and leader in Snohomish County. She was a
recognized Junior and Teen Leader and later started her own 4-H club. She carried several
projects including rabbits, cats, dogs, arts and crafts, wood working, foods, and photography.
As a Community Support Specialist, Ms. Mauck is currently working with individuals with
disabilities, in the community and also has some personal experience due a congenital
condition that effects some activities. This gives her insight with ways to assist others. She
enjoys helping individuals be as independent as possible in their daily lives.
Ms. Mauck enjoys music, has played guitar, violin, and piano, has participated on worship
teams, loves to sing and do Israeli folk dancing. Other interests include reading, photography,
and scrapbooking. She feels that it is valuable to have a positive attitude in whatever one does.
